from Green Mill Filmworks
A new visual interpretation of the classic Pink Floyd album originally created as a backdrop film for the Skycastle/Buzz Presents live 2002 performance in San Francisco. The story is framed between 1961 and 1989…with the rise and fall of the Berlin Wall…as young Pink Floyd looses his father in the Vietnam war and later becomes influenced by the rock and roll music of the late 60’s and 70’s, emerging in the MTV 80’s as a major rock star, confronting his own inner demons and isolation. Combines rare archive combat and animation films, commercials and other multi-media from the 60s, 70s & 80’s.
Directed and Edited by JOHN JANSEN
