This looks fucking amazing: Barbet Schroeder, Bruno Ganz. An Island and a Cello. Wow. A return to ponderous 70s flics. The 4 credited author screenplay by committee listing is a bit disconcerting. I will totally watch this and note that the recent offering of Vin Diesel (I know people who speak with the same inflection and Vin which makes his persona hyper-real) also had Charlotte Rampling and Gerard Depardieu although no regie of note, was so ahead of its Canal + dystopian time
