Just watched the Final Cut last week on the big screen. The scene at the noodle bar makes me think the movie might predict the aesthetic of Istanbul in an EU that includes Turkey more than anywhere else (except maybe New Crobuzon).
i’m jealous, been many moons since I saw it on a big screen, it does hold up quite well for a scifi film more and more like the news every day…
