It takes relatively little in the way of resources (money, staffing, technology, etc)  for crony-capitalist-thugs to hijack existing systems like banking, political movements/parties, and or other infrastructures/assemblages and wreak far-ranging and deep havoc as they carry out their extractive acts of piracy and terrorism, and we are desperately lacking the means for the kinds of sweeping changes that building truly alternative systems would require, so how with what we have at hand do we try to care for all we hold near and dear given the tragic all-too-human limits of our capacities to fend off these cancerous growths?
