I think we can replace psychoanalysis with recent work on neuro-phenomenology (cognitive-biases and other habits) and have a more timely account of the pathways we now are making our ways of, but I think the larger question remains of whether or not our encompassing technological reaches have made our environs so uninhabitable/unbearable that we cannot adapt in any way that we would willingly embrace – DMF
