Voluntarism in the Catastrophic, West & Butler on Said.

We should not shy away from being committed/activist humanists if we care about life on this planet.

One response to “Voluntarism in the Catastrophic, West & Butler on Said.

  1. I was struck, as I would be, by Butler’s focus on the work that terms do in an author’s work and wondering what work they may do, or not, for us.
A welcome bit of pragmatism and a rejection of the haunting influences of biblical hermeneutics that attribute Logos to words.
