Antonio Negri: A Revolt That Never Ends

surely the odds are stacked against our efforts to turn the tides of history as humankind’s destructive/exploitative capacities are vastly outstripping our abilities to organize reflexive communities of care, but perhaps even ultimately futile efforts at resistance are better than capitulation/support, just as speaking up for what one wants in one’s personal life may not result in getting what one asks for but not asking will cost one’s psyche far more as a self-sacrificing, passive-aggressive, living hell of waiting in vain? We cannot make people desire the ends/means that we prefer but at least we can offer them a conscious choice, a living alternative.
