One evening in October 2005, in a high rise suburb outside Paris, three teenagers – all from immigrant families were being chased by the police. They hid inside a power transformer . They were electrocuted, and two of the boys died instantly. Riots spread through France – 9,000 cars were burned, and almost 3,000 people were arrested. The government declared a state of emergency. And the crisis with young immigrants is not over.”
