In a recent post Jehu of The Real Movement would ask in reference to a comment I made:

“Marx’s accelerationism is the acceleration of accumulated capital”

So, does this mean Nick Land is a Marxist?

I commented to this as follows,

Obviously Marx’s accelerationism is a critique of the “accelerated production of surplus-value” in capitalism, so Marx was not an accelerationist of either the Left or Right… he was just seeing what the Capitalists were up too. As for Landian accelerationism: his is partially in agreement with Deleuze/Guattari’s techno-utopianism:
