the interview was somewhat disappointing in that they didn’t really get into the subject of horror and to the degree they did I think Eugene was using language too much like the sense of anxiety as a fear or no-thing whereas the horror seems to be more a question of facing the monstrous, guess I’ll have to try and find a copy of the book.
Monster stories (books, films, etc) never scared (or really interested) me but films like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kids_%28film%29 are a nightmare.
