Could do without the 60’s nostalgia for “storying” but the call for developing the kinds of response-abilities that will give us some skillful means for coping with contingency, and mourning what is to be lost despite our efforts/wishes and to some extent thru our own destructive habits, is all right on point with our contemporary situation.
