Frances Fox Piven on Social Movements

By the time things get ruined enough for there to be widespread and sustained uprisings in the USA I think they will be more about establishing local/tribal centers of power than about opposing the federal government and its oligarchical overlords.                                                            In the meantime we have to figure out how to keep sane and be of some support to each other, any suggestions/experiments out there other than movement politics?
