Poverty & the Tolerance of the Intolerable, Amartya Sen

I have some issues with Sen’s (and Nussbaum’s) focus on capabilities but he always keeps the people that too many find not just untouchable but unworthy even of consideration front and center, sometimes you have to rub peoples’ noses in the messes they are making of other peoples’ lives.
