this is a fascinating/strong mis-reading (somewhat in the style of Richard Rorty to my ears tho I asked and the speaker doesn’t see it that way) of Whitehead in pragmatist/all-too-human terms like interest (after Stengers) and not in metaphysical/ontological terms of getting It right, I would be interested to hear what others make of this tension in reading Whitehead along more neo-pragmatist lines, is it productive or just reductive (if not misleading in the way that one of the recorded questioners suggests)?
