Lots of good stuff here but I want to underline the point that to create the kind of ghosts-in-the-machines structures/systems/programs that all too many people project onto the world, whether they are talking object-ive-values/ideologies, cybernetics, neuro-haptic-mystical-mind-melds, or such takes actual teams of engineers and technicians, like the folks at Google or Facebook, to make and maintain the machines, and salespeople/lobbyists to promote it, without this kind of concrete infrastructure/actions there are no such systems at work in our social interactions.
