The optical clamp idea is the most insidious aspect of this for weaponized conrol of the everyday experience
all depends on the engineering, lost track of how many times someone has said some piece of tech “changes everything” and yet daily life is almost entirely the same as it was before mass computing was unleashed onto the public markets.
