Highly recommend Nick Srnicek’s talk on the future of automation, full of updated stats and how the Left can think progressively about offering alternatives for the future given what patterns are emerging.

  1. thanks for sharing this, is this really about informational complexity or skill/expertise development (or are they they same) and have you thought about how the limits of our individual grasps/reaches relate to our being vulnerable/exposed to, alienated by, trends/systems beyond us (out of our hands, exceed our powers to change/influence/avoid more than they exceed our understanding) and yet that we are in some substantial ways with/in?
